Account
Organizations
Manage teams, members, and access control across your Zanode organization
Overview
Every Zanode account belongs to one or more organizations. All projects, databases, and billing are scoped to an organization. When you create an account, a personal organization is created automatically.
Manage your organizations at Account → Organizations.
Creating an organization
Click create organization on the Organizations page to create a new team organization. You can switch between organizations using the org switcher in the dashboard sidebar.
Your personal organization cannot be deleted. Additional organizations can be deleted by the owner once all projects have been removed.
Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| owner | Full access. Can manage billing, delete the org, and transfer ownership. Cannot be removed by others. |
| admin | Can manage settings, members, and invites. Cannot delete the org. |
| member | Can create and manage projects within the organization. |
| viewer | Read-only access to projects. |
Owners cannot be removed or downgraded. To transfer ownership, promote another member to owner.
Inviting members
Only owners and admins can invite new members.
- Go to Account → Organizations
- Under Invites, enter the member’s email address
- Choose their role (admin, member, or viewer)
- Click send invite
An invitation email is sent. If email delivery is unavailable, copy the invite link from the invite card and share it directly.
Managing pending invites
Pending invites can be:
- copy link — Share the invite URL directly
- resend — Resend the invitation email
- revoke — Cancel the invite
Managing members
The Members section shows all current organization members. Owners and admins can:
- Change role — Use the role dropdown on the member row
- Remove — Click remove to remove a member from the organization
Removing a member immediately revokes their access to all projects in the organization.
Organization settings
Owners and admins can rename the organization and update its slug (URL identifier) from the Settings section.
- Name — Display name shown in the dashboard
- Slug — Lowercase identifier used in URLs (letters, numbers, and hyphens only)
Leaving an organization
Non-owner members can leave an organization by clicking leave organization in the Settings section. Owners must transfer ownership before they can leave.
Deleting an organization
Owners can delete a non-personal organization from the Settings section. All projects must be removed first. You must type the organization name to confirm deletion.
